Confirm a Reservation (For Travellers)

Dear Sir,

This letter is to confirm my registration at the Springfield History Association's annual convention on January 25, 2002.

I have enclosed my check for $250.00, as you requested. I remind you that I have yet to receive my information packet. As the day of the convention is rapidly approaching, could you please express mail the packet and confirmation of my registration to the address above?

I appreciate your help and look forward to attending the convention.

Best Regards,
[Your Name]

Cancel a Reservation

Dear Sir,

My company scheduled the Lincoln room at your hotel for a banquet on May 5. I apologize, but I must cancel the arrangements. This morning's headlines tell the reason: Doe International just bought us.

Please refund my $500 deposit and accept my sincere regrets. Maybe we can try again once the dust settles.

Best Regards,
[Your Name]
